Kealakekua Bay is closed to all craft leaving Napo`opo`o Pier or entering Ka`awaloa Flats at the Capt Cook Monument. Kayaks, stand up paddleboards, boogie boards and surf boards are all prevented from launching or landing in Kealakekua Bay during this period. The area will be reopened after enforcement actions/management efforts are completed by the State of Hawaii Land and Natural Resources.
